Regular stencil computations constitute the main core kernel in many temporally explicit approaches for structured grid finite-difference, finite-volume, and finite-element discretizations of partial differential equation conservation laws. Hatem Ltaief

Hatem is a Principal Research Scientist at CEMSE Division at KAUST. His research interests include mixed-precision algorithms, parallel numerical algorithms, parallel programming models, performance optimizations for manycore architectures and high performance computing. He has been collaborating with domain scientists, i.e., astronomers, statisticians, computational chemists and geophysicists, on leveraging their applications to meet the challenges at exascale.
